There has never been a better time to begin this writing adventure.

Somehow we have overstuffed every closet, cabinet and drawer, the attic, utility room and inch of garage space of this house. Yesterday I found one of those black and white composition notebooks full of first grade spelling words and my son is graduating from high school in three months. Accumulation like this feels heavy. For me everything has sentimental value which is especially dangerous when you have a large family. Plus, we don't use something until it's useless, we use it until we are at Target and see another one that is so cute and on sale. Now that we will be moving soon I am forced to face twenty years of "stuff". It's not necessarily a hoarding type situation because things are in containers and mostly labeled and I do know where most stuff is--generally speaking. It's just the quantity of it, and I promise to do better from now on.
